Pramath has worked in diverse fields spanning business and strategy, consulting, leadership and academia. Being Passionate about education, he forayed into the field as the founding Dean of the Indian School of Business (ISB), after leadership at McKinsey & Company, and Group MD and CEO of ABP Pvt Ltd. Setting it up in collaboration with Wharton, Kellogg and London Business School, Pramath was instrumental in building ISB into a world-class business school in India. He is the Founder and Trustee of the recently launched Ashoka University (ashoka.edu.in), India’s first liberal arts university. The Young India Fellowship (youngindiafellowship.com) launched under its aegis in 2011, was another first of its kind scholarship programme in the country. Pramath mentors and advises various educational groups that seek his expertise. In addition, he is currently a Senior Counselor with Albright Stonebridge Group, helping international businesses set up operations in India. Pramath holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BTech degree from IIT, Kanpur.

Richard was previously with Northern State University managing international recruitment and admissions. He also worked for the U.S. Department of State’s EducationUSA program, first as Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) for the Northeast Asia and Pacific region, and later as Communications Coordinator, Global EducationUSA Services at the Institute of International Education in Washington, DC.

Jyoti has over 30 years experience across Manufacturing (Asian Paints), Financial Services ANZ Grindlays Bank), Information Technology (Iron Mountain previously PurpleYogi.com), Consulting (Arthur Andersen, acquired by Ernst & Young) & Media (Times of India Group)
Prior to this, Jyoti was President – Bennett Advisory Services that provided brand, people and process consulting services to Small & Medium Enterprises in India. He also led the Performance & Rewards practice for Andersen / Ernst & Young overseeing 41 countries across Europe, Middle East, India & Africa (EMEIA).
Jyoti has acquired strong conceptual & hands-on experience in enhancing organizational effectiveness, restructuring, change management and performance & reward strategies.
Jyoti has a degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi (1984) and a MBA from IIM Calcutta (1986).
Professor of Public Policy and Chair of the Department of Public Policy and Administration at Rutgers University-Camden.
Dr. Chevrier also served as professor of public policy at the University of Texas at Dallas, and has given lectures and workshops at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Princeton University, Harvard University, The London School of Economics, the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, the United Nations in Geneva, and many others. She has also taught negotiations and conflict resolution in India as a Fulbright Scholar.
Dev, a retired Defence Officer, is the founder and Chief Consultant of Orange on Gray Consulting Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and Orange on Gray Pvt Ltd, India. He also leads multiple Consulting assignments in India and Malaysia, ranging from Supporting Health Assurance schemes in multiple states in India to setting up and operating Global Business Services and related investments overseas.
In his prior assignments , Dev has led both Businesses and HR for mid to large size companies in India and abroad. He has led Global Recruitment/ Talent support Services for IBM in North America, Europe , Africa and the Asia Pacific region
Professor, Operations Management, Ohio University
Dr. Bhutta joined Ohio University in 2008 after working with Nicholls State University, Louisiana, where he taught for seven years. He received his Ph. D. in Operations Management from The University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.
Expert, International Higher Education and Marketing
Jody brings a 40-year career spanning corporate, global NGO, and international higher education experiences to Branta with expertise in global marketing, outreach, recruitment and admissions; strategic planning and partnering; emerging market identification and development; grant writing; and organizational change leadership. She retired from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in July 2016 and now shares her passion for international higher education with Branta and its clients.

Founder and CEO
Suchita spearheads our programs and brings all stakeholders together. As an avid traveler, she leads with experience and prioritizes people-first approach. With over 15 years of experience spanning areas such as business development, education management, and program development, Suchita is an activator who energizes the firm’s key networks. She enjoys working with educators and students to help them navigate social change and professional development to make a positive and meaningful impact.
Suchita holds a master’s degree in English Literature from Delhi University. Before diving into entrepreneurship, she worked as Country Advisor for Trinity College Dublin to establish Trinity’s long-term goals in the Indian sub-continent. From student recruitment to building key partnerships with high schools and colleges, Suchita also initiated, managed and facilitated important conversations and institutional engagements with alumni networks, corporate groups, and Global Relation Offices across the South Asia region.
As an entrepreneur, Suchita now spends most of her time on building roadmaps for international education. She works with educators in India, the United States, and Europe. She seamlessly navigates her role as advisor, mentor, and travel partner. In her day to day role, she meets with potential partners, oversees budgets, and moderates team discussions to ensure organizational outcomes.

Syed K. Jamal
Syed leads the firm’s focus on innovation, partnerships, and client impact. His professional experience includes work in the diverse areas of media, academia, and international education. He first came to the US as an International Ford Foundation Fellow, so he brings his own experience as an international student into his vision for Branta. His interest in cross-cultural collaborations and global citizenry continue to shape his professional pursuits.
In 2010, Syed took a communications position at India’s Fulbright Commission for the U.S. Department of State’s public diplomacy program, EducationUSA. In his role as Communications Manager, Syed spearheaded EducationUSA’s digital outreach and partnerships. He led several recruitment programs, public diplomacy outreach with US Foreign Service Officers, and many workshops.
After EducationUSA, Syed began consulting for a variety of youth and higher education organizations both in India and in the US. In 2015, he moved to the US and founded Branta, which works with universities, colleges, and recruitment organizations in the US and Canada, as well as youth-focused organizations in India.
Syed interests include international educational technology, youth development, entrepreneurship, and social media. He tweets here. As a trained filmmaker, he serves on the Board of Advisors of The Way Home: Journey of Family and Faith, a documentary film about three generations of Tibetan women in exile fighting to save their cultural heritage. He also serves on the Board of Directors of World Affairs Council in Tacoma.
